Founder, CEO, and Clinical Director (she/her)

“I have an informal and non-judgmental approach that will help you relax and feel comfortable. I will get to know you as an individual, help you identify what you would like to change about your mental health, and work with you as a team.

I perform a thorough diagnostic evaluation including a full history and in-depth investigation of symptoms, and develop a holistic treatment plan that can include medication, psychotherapy, and cutting-edge evidence-based treatments like Ketamine Assisted Therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

I will help you appreciate yourself as you are, while working to get even better. I can’t wait to get to know you, learn about your struggles and successes, and help you work toward your best possible life!”

Caitlyn Champion MSN, PMHNP

Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (she/her)

“When you meet with me, you will feel welcomed, heard, and valued. I prioritize creating a safe and collaborative environment where honesty and open communication are at the forefront. My goal is to build a trusting partnership with each patient and their family, working together toward achieving their unique mental health goals.

I take a holistic and integrative approach to care, focusing on the individual needs of each patient. My treatment philosophy is patient and family centered, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s health—mental, emotional, physical, and social—are considered in developing a personalized treatment plan.

I have specialized experience in pediatric psychiatry, having worked on the inpatient psychiatric unit at Children’s Hospital for several years. This hands-on experience has allowed me to develop deep expertise in managing complex psychiatric conditions in children and adolescents. I am particularly skilled in working with trauma, depression, anxiety, and challenging behavioral concerns. Additionally, I focus on educating and supporting parents in managing difficult behaviors at home and in the community.”

Caitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on mental health from Purdue University. She is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

Mental and Metabolic Health and Wellness

Annie Silverwood MSN, FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner (she/her)

“In my previous work in primary and urgent care, I found that patient’s mental and physical health are inseparably linked, but mental health needs are not always prioritized. I decided I wanted to work in a practice where I could help people with both, which is what drew me to Owl and Eagle.

When people are struggling with their mental health, they don’t always have the energy or focus to engage in self-care behaviors like eating a healthy diet and exercising. In addition, psychiatric medications often cause weight gain and metabolic changes that can make maintaining health more difficult. I’m here to help!

I diagnose and treat depression, anxiety, and ADHD, and work with patients to implement good self care practices, so they can achieve their health and fitness goals. For patients who need to lose weight or improve their metabolic health, I employ the latest innovations in medical weight loss including weight loss medications, nutrition and exercise plans, and vitamins and supplements to help you reduce risk of disease and add quality years to your life.

Through counseling, I can help you identify and release beliefs that hold you back, and help you love yourself as you are, while you work to improve your health. My purpose is to provide individualized, highly motivating, compassionate care, to set you up for sustained success. With your commitment, we will develop a holistic treatment plan incorporating nutrition, lifestyle, and pharmacological interventions to help you improve your mental health and achieve optimal wellness."

Annie studied Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise with a concentration in Dietetics and earned her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech Polytechnic Institute in 2011. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte in 2011 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2015. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner since 2016. In her free time, she enjoys live music, reading, yoga, meditation, hiking, gardening and everything the beautiful state of Colorado has to offer. She sees patients age 12 and older for depression, anxiety, ADHD, weight management, metabolic health conditions, and wellness care. She is accepting new patients and provides visits in person at our Denver and Golden locations and via telehealth throughout Colorado.

Licensed Professional Counselor (she/they)

“Are you mystified by the idea of being your authentic self? Have you felt that you carry too much trauma & are too flawed to experience your life in a new way? Perhaps you have a sense of the unique gifts you have to offer, yet are held back by codependency in relationships, a tendency to abandon yourself, or other painful patterns. Each one of us enters into this world with a powerful purpose. However, we often learn to adopt a different story. Counseling can provide a place to reunite with the parts of ourselves that have been forgotten, oppressed, & rejected in order to embody our original wholeness.

As a contemplative, somatic, trauma & attachment trained clinician, I offer a highly personalized, integrative approach that values the complexity of who you are & where you have been. I bring a wealth of knowledge around the transformative power of working with the nervous system to strengthen your sense of internal safety & depth of self-awareness.
